Community Pantry

The Community Pantry at Notting Hill Neighbourhood House provides free food for everyone in the community. It is open every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, welcoming anyone who might be doing it tough or simply needs a top-up of fresh produce to get through the week.

In just one year, the Pantry has distributed over 7,000kg of fresh fruit and vegetables to the local community. Small measures are in place to ensure there is enough for everyone and that the food is shared fairly and accessibly.

The Pantry runs thanks to the dedication of our Foodbank drivers, sorters, and volunteers who collect, set up, and distribute food each week. Special thanks to our drivers Lucas, Albert, Ming, Geoff, Evan, Kaye, Kym, and Awnit, and our volunteers Sally, Deyun, Janice, Anika, Stephanie, and Jonny. We also thank community contributors MAZON Australia and Mr Shashi for their support.

The Community Pantry is more than just food. It’s a space for connection, support, and care. Everyone is welcome, and every contribution helps make a difference.
